Water Monitoring & Leak Detection
Our new water monitoring system uses brand new, state of the art technology. This water conservation tool is perfect to measure water for:
- Cooling Towers – Make-up (feed), Blow Down (Bleed), Overflow drain lines. Prevents wasting water due to faulty solenoids, chemical feed probes, and stuck float valves that all control how much water is being used for the cooling towers.
- Irrigation Lines – Able to detect a leak underground (broken or cracked pipes)that you would not be able to see otherwise.
- Domestic lines – Pinpoint problems inside buildings with toilets, faucets, water fountains, etc.
What makes our water monitoring and water conservation tool different and unique?
- SCA provides 20 year warranty on all meters; 10 year warranty on all AMR units and Cellular service and 2 year warranty on all plumbing required to install the system.
- All units are powered by the new 4G LTE Cellular Service.
- Collects meter reading data every 15 minutes.
- Leak alerts set on every meter. Leak alerts will be sent via email and/or text message in the case of a spike in water consumption or if the meter exceeds the threshold for the amount of water used in a 24 hour period.
- Customer has access to all data on a computer and/or our smartphone app. Client will receive alerts directly via text/email or both; no limit on number of people who can receive alerts.
- A water conservation tool that gives the customer complete control over all the water being used. No more questions over where your water is going or how much water you are wasting.
Actual Case Study:
The graphs on this page show a cooling tower make up probe that controls water flow to a cooling tower going bad on October 11, 2017 at 12pm. The problem was caught and fixed the next day October 12, 2017 at 1 pm. A major problem that was wasting 1,750 gallons per hour was fixed 24 hours later. If the problem existed for 30 days, this would have resulted in over 1 million gallons of water being wasted. In addition, the client would have experienced an astronomical water bill.
